Matt joined Kier in 2021 and specialises in the industrial and logistics sector working directly with institutional investors, occupiers and joint venture partners to deliver complex development projects across the UK. He covers the full development lifecycle, from site acquisition and structuring through planning, construction, leasing and exit.
Matt brings a strong commercial focus to partnership-led development, with particular expertise in aligning investor and occupier requirements to create deliverable, market-facing schemes. He works collaboratively with joint venture partners and stakeholders to structure and deliver development opportunities both off-market and on-market as well as leading on leasing strategies, occupier engagement and long-term value creation across industrial and logistics assets.
Relevant experience:
- Delivery of c.2.6m sq ft new Grade A stock across industrial, logistics, and self-storage.
- Appraising and reviewing financial models to deliver new developments from inception to stabilised asset sale.
- Securing pre-let opportunities and liaising with occupiers and their retained agents.
- Currently delivering 235,000 sq ft of speculative development across two sites including Logistics City Milton Keynes.
- Leading on acquiring new opportunities across the UK with a focus on London, South East, and the Midlands.
