Corporate responsibility is an important part of how we operate. Through community engagement, charitable initiatives and a commitment to diversity and wellbeing, we aim to create a positive impact beyond the developments we deliver.
Kier Foundation
The Kier Foundation is an independently registered charity that supports both Kier’s charity partner and other charitable causes close to the hearts of our employees and the communities in which we operate.
The Kier Foundation began operating in 2012, with the purpose of offering financial support to charitable bodies throughout the UK. Since its formation, the Kier Foundation has donated more than £3m to charitable causes, thanks to the continued support of our employees.
At Kier, we facilitate employee engagement and involvement with charitable partners, providing support through the Kier Foundation. Part of this is our Payroll Giving, a scheme that allows employees to make donations via a direct deduction from their gross pay.

We believe our greatest strength lies in our people and those we work alongside.
We invest in skills, training and development at every level, helping our teams and partners reach their full potential. Through our volunteering programmes, STEM Ambassadors and use of Kierriculum in schools, we support education and inspire the next generation to pursue careers in property, construction, design and sustainability.
We also work with our supply chain to ensure they share our values, measuring and improving performance against key indicators such as local employment, apprenticeships and fair working practices.
