Shahab joined Kier Property in 2015 as a project manager, managing projects across industrial, office, retail, office and mixed-use sectors. Prior to joining Kier, he spent three years as a development surveyor/project manager in private sector property development, primarily focused in the redevelopment of Listed buildings for residential and mixed use. Shahab has extensive experience in co-ordinating technical diligence on sites, including procurement of relevant surveys to inform the deliverability of schemes. He is responsible for managing the entire construction process, from co-ordination of consultant teams, leading contractor procurement and ensuring that appointments, warranties and contract documents are in place.
Relevant experience:
- The delivery of a 22.5 acre brownfield development in Reading, comprising; hotel, pre-let retail and restaurants, pre-let car showrooms and industrial park with associated infrastructure, a new public highway and outline planning for an additional 175 new homes.
- Delivery of over 300,000 sq ft of trade and logistics industrial space.
- Delivery of c. 140,000 sq ft of offices in Birmingham to a market leading net-zero carbon (NABERS 5*), EPC A, WELL and WiredScore specification.
